Leblanc vs Galanti Preview: Middleweight Matchup at UFC Edmonton

Middleweights Julien Leblanc of Canada and Nick Galanti of the United States meet at UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Rogers Place in Edmonton. Neither is ranked, and both have only a sliver of UFC.com data, so this one is more about styles than per-minute numbers.

Leblanc (10-3-0), 34, brings the more complete résumé: four knockouts, four submissions and two decisions. He stands 6-foot-2 with a 74.5-inch reach and made his Octagon debut on April 18, 2026. His UFC.com sample amounts to four of six significant strikes landed, all on the feet, with an average fight time of 2:22.

Galanti, 28, has an even thinner sample, with an average fight time of 35 seconds, but it tells you something: eight of 10 significant strikes landed, seven of them on the ground and one in the clinch. UFC.com doesn't list his height or reach.

The key question: where does this fight play out? On the feet, where Leblanc has landed every one of his significant strikes, or on the mat, where Galanti has landed almost all of his? With knockouts and submissions split evenly on his record, Leblanc has a route to a finish either way.

The card begins at 3 p.m. local time, with the main card at 6 p.m. Get your seat: UFC Fight Night Edmonton tickets for Oct. 17.
