Lebosnoyani vs Hasanov Preview: Unbeaten Record Meets Perfect TD Defense
Two spotless numbers collide at Meta APEX on Saturday, Oct. 31. Jean-Paul "Mufasa" Lebosnoyani has stopped 100% of the takedowns attempted against him in the UFC. Farman "The Lion" Hasanov has never lost: he's 6-0-0 as a pro. The welterweights square off at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, where the card starts at 2 p.m. local time and the main card at 5 p.m.
Lebosnoyani, a 27-year-old American, brings an 11-2-0 record and a complete toolbox. Seven of his wins came in the first round; five were submissions, three knockouts and three decisions. Since his UFC debut in February 2026, he has landed 4.14 significant strikes per minute at 47% accuracy, averaged 0.48 knockdowns, and mixed in 2.89 takedowns and 1.93 submission attempts per 15 minutes. His offense comes from everywhere: 77% of his significant strikes land at distance, 13% in the clinch and 10% on the ground. On defense, he absorbs 4.05 per minute, almost exactly what he lands, and avoids 57%. Submissions are his signature, accounting for 45% of his wins.
Hasanov, a 31-year-old from Azerbaijan, fights at a very different pace. He lands just 1.40 significant strikes per minute, but at 51% accuracy, and he's tough to tag, absorbing 1.00 per minute with 71% strike defense. Nine of every 10 of his significant strikes come on the feet, the rest on the ground. Four of his six wins came by knockout, three in the first round, and two went to a decision. His average UFC fight since his June 2026 debut has gone the full 15:00, with no knockdowns or submission attempts on his UFC ledger so far.
There's little to separate them physically. Hasanov stands 6 feet, an inch taller than the 5-foot-11 Lebosnoyani. Lebosnoyani's reach is 72 inches.
The key question: can Hasanov's accuracy and 71% strike defense hold up against a man who lands nearly three times as often, 4.14 significant strikes per minute to 1.40? And if the fight hits the mat, Lebosnoyani's 1.93 submission attempts per 15 minutes come into play.
The first fight goes off at 2 p.m., so plan to be there from the start. Get your seat: Moicano vs Nolan tickets.
